Wabash, IN- Visit Wabash County through their LiveIN Wabash County program is eager to announce the return of the Pet Photo Costume Contest which will run exclusively on Facebook. This year is even bigger and better than the previous years thanks to incredible partners with a prize package valued at more than $250.
The public is invited to submit photos of their pet dressed up for Halloween for a chance to win an excellent prize package highlighting local Wabash County businesses that cater to animal lovers of all kinds.
Entries will be accepted from October 14 through October 21 and must be submitted using the official entry post on the LiveIN Wabash County Facebook page. Entries must be of your pet in a new costume from the previous year’s contests. The public will have from October 14 to October 21 to vote on the LiveIN Wabash County Facebook page for their favorite pet photo by “liking” the picture of that pet. The top four pets will make it to the final round to determine the winner. The final round of votes will run from October 24 to October 28 for the public to decide who wins and the winner will be announced on Halloween day on Facebook!
“This campaign is an exciting way for people to showcase their beloved pets,” said Biz Bishop, content manager for Visit Wabash County. “J&K’s Mega Pet! has partnered with Visit Wabash County since the first year and because of the success of the promotion we have added more county-wide partners for an even bigger prize package!”
The guidelines for the entries are as follows; entries must be a new costume that has not been previously submitted, and only one entry per animal is allowed. Entering is as simple as commenting with a picture of your pet on the official Facebook post. Any kind of pet is allowed to enter, so be sure to decorate your fish tank, or ferret cage, or dress your furry friend in a costume that we hope was purchased locally. The prize package totals more than $250, including a $100 gift card to J&K Mega’s Pet!,
4 bags of pet treats, 4 decorated doggie biscuits, a catnip toy also from J&K Mega’s Pet!, pumpkin dog treats from Kneadful Things, eco-friendly pet supplies from Rainy Day Retail Shop inside Wabash County Solid Waste Management District, insulated cooler bag from Alen Feeds, catnip toy and cat sunglasses from Bellazo Revised Style, a dog leash from Wonder Brand and more!
