Wabash City Schools hires Cook as O. J. Neighbours Assistant Principal


Wabash, IN–The Wabash City Schools Board of Education approved Mr. Brody Cook as the next assistant principal at O. J. Neighbours Elementary at the June 24, 2024 School Board meeting. Mr. Cook is a familiar face at OJN having started his educational career there as special education teacher in the fall of 2018. He then transferred to Wabash Middle School where he has served as the 6th grade science teacher for the past five years.
Mr. Cook holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Manchester University along with certifications in mild interventions, education law and high ability. He recently completed his masters degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana University. For the
past two years, Mr. Cook has participated in Administrative Intern Days at Wabash City Schools to learn more about administrative responsibilities within the district as well as strengthen his capacity to lead.
Mr. Cook stated, “Returning to O. J. as the assistant principal is a privilege and I look forward to supporting our students and staff when school starts in August.”
Mr. Cook and his wife live in Wabash with their three children ages 9, 4, and 1. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and walking through the woods with his dogs.
