Wabash, IN – Wabash City Schools is thrilled to announce that it has been recognized as a Red Wagon Corporation for the academic year 2023-2024. This is the second year in a row that WCS has received this honor. To be honored as a Red Wagon Corporation, a district must raise a minimum of $1 per student at every school within the district. Wabash City Schools collectively raised $2,377.91.
Superintendent Dr. Amy K. Sivley shared her pride in the district’s achievement, saying, “Wabash City Schools is honored to be named a Red Wagon Corporation again. This demonstrates our commitment to not only providing amazing educational opportunities but also our dedication to helping our community. Riley Children’s Hospital plays a vital role in caring for many of our students and countless others throughout the state. We are committed to making the Riley Fundraiser an annual event in our district.”
Wabash City Schools’ annual Riley fundraiser will take place this year during the month of January 2025. The district will have district-wide spirit days and other activities to get everyone excited and involved.
