WABASH, IN- The Wabash Police Department is proud to announce the official swearing-in of its newest Probationary Police Officer, Officer Dixon, who began the first phase of his Field Training on 11/25/2024. Officer Dixon is bringing with him a wealth of life experience, dedication to service, and a deep commitment to the Wabash community.
Officer Dixon’s path to law enforcement is as unique as it is inspiring. A home-schooled student, he went on to earn his GED to meet the requirements for the police academy. For the past 12 years, Officer Dixon worked as a truck driver, gaining valuable skills in discipline, responsibility, and problem-solving.
Married for 12 years, Officer Dixon and his wife are proud parents to three children. When he’s not on duty, he enjoys camping and hiking with his family, drag racing, and shooting at the range. These hobbies reflect his love for the outdoors and his appreciation for teamwork and precision.
