Wayne Eddy Hunt, 65, of Marion, passed away at 10:17 am on Friday, November 8, 2024, in his home after losing a battle with cancer. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, March 14, 1959, to Wayne and Neidra Hunt.
Wayne attended Mississinewa Community Schools and worked for over 20 years with Hartson-Kennedy before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and carpentry. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachelle (Bobby Nunn) Hunt of Marion; granddaughter, Lauren Nunn; sisters, Terri Hunt of WI and Alana (R.D.) Snyder of Marion; brother, Alan (Trish) Hunt of Marion; step-brother, Jerry (Melony) Cotrel; five nieces; and best friend, Cindy Alvarado.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Hunt, and mother, Neidra (Rook) Nelson.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Wayne.
