GRANT COUNTY, IN- Marion Police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with the homicide investigation. Criminal Investigations Detectives were able to establish a suspect. He was located in Anderson, IN and arrested. The case remains ongoing and under investigation.

GRANT COUNTY, IN- On June 1, 2026, at approximately 2:24am Grant County Central Dispatch received a call stating that a male was shot in an SUV behind Rebel Dolls Cabaret located at 904 S. Western Ave. in Marion, IN. The business was closed at the time of the call.
Emergency personnel from Marion Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Marion Fire Department and Marion health arrived on scene. Life-saving efforts were conducted. The male was then transported to Marion Health where he succumbed to his injury.
Marion Police Officers and Detectives began working the scene and following leads.
The victim, 20-year-old Cristobal Lester of Marion was found inside the vehicle. It appeared from preliminary observation that Lester received a single gunshot wound to the right side of his head.
