Diana B. Sletten, 75, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Wabash passed away on June 26, 2026 at her son’s home surrounded by family. She was born on June 27, 1950 to Ervin and Betty (Frankstine) Sletten.
Diana was a 1968 graduate of Wabash High School. She continued her education at IU Kokomo, and earned her registered nurse degree. Where she worked as a registered nurse at Logansport State Hospital till her retirement.
She also in her earlier years worked at General Telephone Company and also bartended at many establishments in Wabash. She enjoyed watching food network, had a passion for culinary and serving people, and also for water and the ocean.
She is survived by her son, Nick Perez (Earl Elkins) of Orlando, Florida, sister, Dawn (Kirk) Bakehorn, nephew, Chad (Mandy) Bakehorn, great nieces; Addison, Josie, and Emree, all of Wabash, and several cousins.
There will be no services. Preferred memorial is to Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
