Joint investigation between Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and United States Marshals Service leads to arrest of Rochester woman

FULTON COUNTY, IN — On July 8, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, members of the United States Marshals Service, and officers with the Rochester Police Department executed a search warrant in the 3000 block of South 650 East in rural Fulton County.

During the execution of the search warrant, Anna Clemons, 25, of Rochester, was located and taken into custody on an active Fulton County arrest warrant. Clemons had failed to appear for a scheduled sentencing hearing after previously being convicted on charges of dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

In 2025, Clemons was the focus of a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigation that resulted in criminal charges for dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

Sheriff Travis W. Heishman praised the coordinated efforts that led to Clemons’ apprehension.

“This arrest is the result of outstanding teamwork and a shared commitment to public safety among the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshals Service, and the Rochester Police Department. From the initial drug investigation through the successful execution of the arrest warrant, every agency involved demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and exceptional police work. When law enforcement agencies work together toward a common goal, we are able to hold offenders accountable and make our communities safer.” — Sheriff Travis W. Heishman

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office extends its appreciation to the United States Marshals Service and the Rochester Police Department for their assistance and continued partnership in bringing this case to a successful conclusion.
