Cheryl Hall went home to be with her Lord on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Cheryl was proud to be a dedicated homemaker and wife. She was loved dearly by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many teachers will remember her as a room mother for her children. She received great joy being Grandma and Grammy. It was obvious to many the special bond she shared with her grandchildren. Even during her recent illness, she enjoyed a trip to the beach with family and some of the great-grands. She never missed a family birthday party or family gathering. Grammy was always in the midst of celebrations, including another great grandson’s birth. It was not unusual to see Cheryl out with friends and or family for lunch. Her last lunch outing was to Fazoli’s (while on hospice) with great-grandchildren and friends. When it came to hobbies, Cheryl would admit it was shopping.

Cheryl was a long-time attendee of Brookhaven Wesleyan Church and Eighth Street Wesleyan Church, where she was involved in Ladies Bible studies. She had a great desire to keep living to be with her family and kept her fighting spirit until her last breath. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Forrest and Vivian (Berry) Parson; and husband, John R. Hall.
