WABASH COUNTY, IN- The MSD of Wabash County School Board met to conduct business on Tuesday evening, August 25, 2026. The following are highlights from the meeting:

Donations
Thank you to our generous donors who contributed $8,530.92. Donors included Keystone Cooperative, Wabash Furniture & Carpet, LLC, ERS Wireless, The Society of Indiana Pioneers, Donors Choose, Richard and Paula Holmes, Midwest Eye Services, Eads & Aon Bulldozing, Inc., The Kendall Group, Jami Holmes, Aaron and Jessica Holley, Urbana Fire Department, Shepherd’s Family Auto Group, and Nathan and Savannah Stouffer.
Highlights
MSDWC’s results from the IREAD assessment, with an outstanding 96.5% pass rate across the district. The district had the highest rates of the public school districts in Wabash County, and were in the top 12.6% of the state. These results are a powerful testament to the district’s commitment to literacy and the collaborative efforts of our teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families who work together to support students’ reading development.
53 MSDWC students passed 104 AP exams for 11 different courses.
Staff Spotlight
Metro North Elementary recognized their 2026 Staff of the Year, Madeline Dazey, and Teacher of the Year, Chloe Plyler. Chloe was also the 2026 MSDWC Teacher of the Year.
