Sandra Jones, 75, Marion, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, on Sunday, April 22, 1951, to Robert and Doris (Russell) Burris. On December 6, 1986, she married Sam Jones and he survives.
Sandra graduated from Marion High School and earned her Bachelor of Science at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Sandra enjoyed her work as a realtor in Grant County. She loved going shopping and had a special place in her heart for babies. Above all, her family meant everything to her. She was kind, outgoing, and loved by everyone who knew her. She never had an enemy and was truly a wonderful person. Her love for God and her family guided her life, and she will be remembered for the love and kindness she shared with others.
Along with her husband, Sam Jones, survivors also include her daughter, Tara (Kirk) Morrison; daughter-in-law, Kris Tedder; grandchildren, Brayton (Shae) Tedder, Morgan Tedder, Derek Eastburn; great-grandchildren, Dacee Tedder, Kali Jones, Hazel Kirk, Armani Tedder; siblings, Doug (Rosie) Burris, Terri (Rick) Oatess, Penny (Pat) Sprong, Rusty (Karen) Burris; sister-in-law, Lottie Storie; brother-in-law, Joe Jones; and best friend, Sherie Berry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris Burris; son, Matthew Tedder; and granddaughter, Kayla Tedder.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Sandra’s life will begin at 5:00 pm.
