Bryan Benjamin Brooks

Bryan Benjamin Brooks, 80, of Wabash, Indiana, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior at 6:13 pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on April 9, 1946, in Wabash, Indiana, to Benjamin and Edith M. (Ridenour) Brooks. He lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep faith, and generous love.

Bryan was a 1964 graduate of Southwood High School. He married Jill Bennett in Wabash on June 25, 1967, and their marriage was a true reflection of Christ’s love, built on grace, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Bryan was a US Air Force veteran. He was a tool, die, and mold maker, and worked for Wagner Industries, United Technologies, GenCorp and retired from Trelleborg Industries in Peru in 2008. Bryan was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, and he loved his church family. He also belonged to the American Legion Post 15, and Etna Acres Golf Course. Bryan enjoyed maintaining the farm, riding horses, antiquing, and going to car shows.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Brooks of Wabash; sons, Bryan “Scott” Brooks of Warsaw, Indiana, and Jason (Shawna) Brooks of Greenwood, Indiana; granddaughter, Kennedie Brooks of Rochester, Indiana; granddaughter-in-law, Lily Reeves of Pierceton, Indiana; great-granddaughter, Charleigh Grace Brooks of Pierceton; nieces and nephews, Cathy Townsend of Wabash, Heather Case and Chelsea (Travis) Templin, both of Muncie, Indiana, Seth (Jean-Marie) Hamilton of McCordsville, Indiana, and Lonnie (Gretta) Townsend of North Manchester, Indiana; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Peyton Brooks, and his sister, Tana Marie Willmore.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Dr. Ben Church officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1-3 pm Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are Faith Baptist Church or F.I.S.H.
