WABASH COUNTY, IN – The Community Foundation of Wabash County is pleased to welcome Austin Minnis, as its new Program Associate, and Mason Pickens, as its new Marketing Manager.

After serving as an intern with the Foundation for the last year, Austin transitioned into the Program Associate role following his graduation from Manchester University. In his work with the Foundation, he has supported key initiatives including Imagine One 85, the Wabash County Development Corporation, along with various community investment and development efforts. He brings a strong background in financial analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement, helping to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Austin’s familiarity with the Foundation’s work and commitment to community impact position him to continue advancing its mission moving forward.

Mason Pickens graduated with High Distinction from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in May 2025. He was a 2021 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient and most recently served as a Marketing & Growth Specialist, where he focused on outreach, customer engagement, and data-driven marketing strategies. Mason’s background in marketing, communications, and growth initiatives will support the Foundation’s communications efforts and help enrich community engagement across Wabash County.

“We’re excited to welcome Austin and Mason to the Community Foundation of Wabash County team,” said Alex Downard, the President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Wabash County. “Austin brings an enthusiastic, hands-on approach and a strong foundation in financial analysis and community development, shaped in part by his time as an intern with the Foundation. Mason is highly self-driven and brings valuable experience in marketing communications that will help us better share our work and tell the story of the Foundation. We’re grateful for what they bring to the table and confident their contributions will reflect our values of integrity, innovation, stewardship, collaboration, and servant leadership as we continue creating lasting impact in Wabash County.”
