Danny L. Kindlesparker

Danny L. Kindlesparker, 71, of Peru, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2026.

Born on November 1, 1954, in Peru, Indiana, Danny was the son of Jack Junior Kindlesparker and Clarabell Wagner Lewis. His stepfather was James E. Lewis.

Danny will be remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched many lives throughout his years, and the memories he created with those he loved will remain in their hearts forever.

Danny was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his work. Throughout his career, he worked as a draftsman for Don Keys in Peru, Indiana. During the early 1990s, he also owned and operated his own business, The Dirt Doctor, specializing in power washing and painting. Through his business, Danny helped give downtown Peru a facelift, taking pride in improving the appearance of local buildings and contributing to the beauty of his hometown. He also devoted approximately 19 years of service to Grissom Air Reserve Base, spending 10 years in maintenance and another nine years as a planner/estimator.

Danny enjoyed many things in life, especially sprint car racing, football, and basketball. He also loved the simple pleasure of sitting around a campfire, sharing conversation, laughter, and good times with family and friends. These moments and the memories made during them will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Danny had a special way of sharing kindness and positivity with others. One of his favorite sayings was “Be blessed and have a blessed day.” These simple but meaningful words reflected the warmth he shared with those around him and will forever bring a smile to the faces of those who remember hearing him say them.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kindlesparker; his father, Jack Junior Kindlesparker; his mother, Clarabell Wagner Lewis; and his stepfather, James E. Lewis.

Danny is survived by his children, Jacob Kindlesparker, Jessica Kindlesparker, Joshua Kindlesparker, and Nichole Hight; and his grandchildren, Nathan Hight, Alana Kindlesparker, Grant Kindlesparker, and Wyatt Kindlesparker. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Rest peacefully, Danny. You will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered.

And in Danny’s own words, one last time:

“Be blessed and have a blessed day.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
