Patricia Ann Moeller-Draper

Patricia Ann Moeller-Draper, 88, of North Manchester, Indiana, entered the arms of her Lord and Savior at 8:40 pm, Friday, October 23, 2026, at Peabody Healthcare Center in North Manchester. She was born on March 20, 1938, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Henry A. and Lucille E. (Otto) Moeller.

Pat was a 1956 graduate of Wabash High School. She married John Draper, Sr., the father of her children at the Zion Lutheran Church in Wabash; he preceded her in death. She worked for Sears Department Store in Wabash and later in the Accounts Receivable Department for the Indiana Division of Family and Social Services. A lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wabash, Pat was deeply involved in her church community and participated in several mission trips.

Pat enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, crocheting, working puzzles, and watching the birds outside her window. She loved traveling and was always ready for a spontaneous adventure, whether it was visiting family in Illinois, vacationing in Florida with her sister, or making a trip to Chicago to cheer on the Cubs. She loved her weekly Sunday trip to the New Asian buffet with her children, and loved her sweets, especially if it was a good piece of lemon meringue pie. Her adventurous spirit, strong faith, and love for family and friends will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by four children, Daniel “Dan” Draper of Lincoln, Illinois, Robert “Tony” Draper of North Manchester, John (Teresa Brewer) Draper of Marion, Indiana, and Julia (Joe) McCune of North Manchester; seven grandchildren, Dawn Draper, Chad Draper, Tenille (Silas) Zartman, Nici Doty, Jill (Michael) Callaway, Jeanette (Cole Crewse) Draper, and Josephine Draper; 20 great grandchildren; and sisters, Karen Huffine of Decatur, Indiana and Alicia Sajdak of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandson Jedi Spaulding; sisters, Janice Schuster and Marilyn Mackowiak; brothers-in-law, David Schuster, Jim Mackowiak, Alan Huffine, and John Sajdak; nephew David Schuster, and niece Diana Schuster.
